Best Company - One to WatchMichelmores recognised in Best Companies Guide 2010 for fourth year running

For the fourth year running Michelmores has been recognised in the Best Companies Guide organised by the Sunday Times, awarded 'One to Watch' status.

The firm is one of only 30 law practices nationwide to make it to the list and the only one from our region.

The exhaustive survey measures businesses against a variety of criteria based upon what employees really think.

These include leadership, personal growth, well being, how employees value their organisation, what they think of their managers and co-workers, if they think they are getting a fair deal and if the firm is putting something back into the society.

The year has seen some amazing results with over 1,000 companies applying to achieve recognition. Just over 750 organisations made it through the process.

Senior Partner Will Michelmore said: "I am delighted that the feedback received from the people working here has resulted in Michelmores being included in this survey. I believe it says a lot about the firm and the ethos we are all striving to achieve. It is also a reflection of everybody's contribution."

The survey gives us a detailed insight of what we are doing well and areas in which we can still improve and that's what we intend to do - improve for the benefit of all. The two areas where we achieved our highest rankings were 'Well Being' and 'Personal Growth'.
