When I get to my desk each morning I read through my task list for the day and get all the files ready for each task. I read the Property Update emails and news relating to commercial property. Mostly, mornings are spent completing my task list either from tasks set by my supervisor or on my own initiative from the list I keep of files I am working on and what is outstanding on each matter... I am a First Year Trainee in the first seat of my Training Contract here at Michelmores. I am currently a part of the Projects/PFI Team which is predominantly responsible for large scale procurement based transactions between clients from both the public and private sector. Many of the projects are hugely complex and substantial both financially and politically, and include the development of courts, hospitals and student accommodation... Click photo for more.
Whilst in my second seat, I was approached by our Training Supervisor and offered the exciting opportunity to move into a seat in our Commercial department which incorporated a secondment to the Met Office. The Met Office is one of our biggest public sector clients and an opportunity like this clearly evidences Michelmores' dedication to ensuring that trainees reach their full potential... I qualified into the Construction Department in September 2006 having trained with Michelmores. My first seat was in the firm's Employment department which I really enjoyed due to the high level of client contact and the ability to quickly become involved with cases........Click photo for more.
I qualified in 2005 and thoroughly enjoy my role in the Employment team. There are not many Firms which permit their employees to undertake such a broad range of work, and hence every working day is a new and refreshing challenge.............Click photo for more.

I joined Michelmores upon qualification in May 2006 having completed my training contract with another local firm. I started my life with Michelmores as an office assistant, photocopying, making deliveries around Exeter and such like. After a year I was offered a position in reception, which I accepted. I spent another year as a receptionist which I thoroughly enjoyed.......Click photo for more.
